So the places chosen has to be kid-friendly, full with exciting experiences, and simultaneously fun while also being educational, if possible.

This Part B is meant for when I'm traveling with my parents, since they typically like to try traditional food & snacks, prioritizes buying souvenirs (oleh-oleh), not good with long walks or stairs, and will take a bunch of pictures and selfies.

This Part A is meant for myself or people similar to me: Into museums and heritage places, don't chase Instagrammable places, not a local-food hunter, have decent budget all-around, and eager to walk thousands of steps a day plus utilizing public transportation.
A Review of Surakarta
In short, Surakarta is a lovely place to live in, but could be a boring one to visit if you're not into its richness in Javanese culture.
